Bendigo Cart

This is our new mode of transport for today,We had to get the startermotor replaced in the Cifiro today replacement had to come from Dunedin. Well we hired a car and continued on with the tour. Today was very cold occasional snow flurries nothing major and cold wind. The sky was very overcast and everything was grey and colourless but I made the most of what I have been reading from my new E book from Digital Photography School called Natural Light. Bannockburn was on the way to where this photo is taken.Bannockburn Sluicings Bannockburn is the largest sluicing area in Central Otago. Bendigo was a thriving goldmining village hosting 4000 occupents until the gold disapeared and the next Goldrush come along. It was settled by Welsh Coal and Gold Miners. This photo is taken in Welshtown and is the left behind cart now preserved by Department of Conservation as is the whole area. You can see the houses in my Bannockburn photos in the link. Another fantastic and exciting day
