Dewdrops

December Challenge / Light / Decorations
Dew on a tree near the Main Post Office.

The New Roman Liturgy for Catholic Mass has this line:
"Sending down the Spirit like the dewfall..."
It makes me wince every time I hear it.
Dew doesn't 'fall,' it condenses!
One of many things the bishops and cardinals got wrong—as good Pope Francis so recently pointed out to them.
Ah, well. Nobody's perfect.

This tree was alight with a myriad of droplets on its dense crown of twigs.
Highly decorative, I thought.
But I couldn't get a shot that revealed the splendor.
I settled for a 'thumbnail,' so to speak, in honor of the thumbnails whose absence we mourn.
