Captain's Logbook

Birthday girl

Had a really fun day today on Mrs W's birthday.

A frantic morning in the office tying up loose ends. Then a trip into town to Sadlers Wells to see Matthew Bourne's Edward Scissorhands which was spectacular. A great adaptation, great sets and an excellent score.

I was particularly impressed with the ballroom scene with the orchestra playing an adaptation of "All that meat and no potatoes" and the dancers doing a balletic Lindy Hop. It amused me that all the mums and dads probably didn't recognise the tune nor have any clue what it was about.

Then home for a chinese takeaway  in front of the TV, cards, cake and presents with the boys.

Cards and cake light painted with a mini maglite in bulb mode.
