First Christmas

Went down to Winchester to see L&M and the kids, and N&G came up to see us in the afternoon before we had our first Christmas dinner of the holiday.....much of it prepared and delivered by our favourite Michelin starred chef as a pressie so we only had to cook it! Delicious.
These were all the granddaughters with Grandad (and J. trying to jump into view at the back! He was suffering from the stress of having his 8th birthday tomorrow when everyone else will be stealing the limelight with Christmas....poor lad)
Did our pressies together then went through the routines of new Christmas pyjamas, leaving out milk and carrots etc for Santa, hanging up the stockings and going to bed then A and I sent off for the trek back to MK....she explaining to me her theories of how people need to regain their humanity and sense of common purpose if there was to be any hope for us as a species. Somewhat frantic and noisy, but lovely day,
