Strange really to see huge vistas of autumnal colours at this time of year, but this is when all the local oak trees shed their leaves for fresh, lime-green new ones.

In the meantime the crisp, dry leaves are absolutely everywhere blocking drains and creating a mess!

I forgot to mention I've updated some pics of a rural San Isidre celebration (Patron Saint of Farming and Countryside, I think) which we discovered at the weekend. Pics on my blog here
