New Zealand's Xmas tree

MERRY XMAS to all my wonderful "Blip" friends, this is my first blip xmas and it is great seeing festivities from all over the world.
We have had a super day with our son, wife and 3 grandies...always enjoy seeing the children opening their parcels, even thought they are getting a bit older now, they still get so excited with all the parcels under the tree.
We had our big xmas dinner last night, and had such a relaxed day, taking the leftover ham and salads out on out boat for the afternoon. Managed to hook 2 trout but let them both go as not big enough.
Around the lake there are a number of pohutakawa trees which come into flower at this time of the year, they look stunning with their red flowers against the bush. They are only just starting and in another week I think they will even look brighter.
