Given the current banking crisis here in Spain, these little guys are as safe a place as any for your hard earned cash. They don't charge you extortionate fees, they don't block your account, they don't continue paying out direct debits when you have already cancelled them, you always have access to your money and in an emergency they are a lot easier to rob.
