A VIEW AS WE ARRIVE.....

...... In Adelaide South Australia.

We arrived late today and liked this shot of the Murray River which runs (via other names) through a river system starting very close to the Eastern coast of Australia. It is a prime source of water for irrigation and to the city of Adelaide. Back in my days as a kid growing up (around 1950's) recall the water was so badly treated it came out of the taps brown. We survived on it, but over time of course it had to be improved to what considered "drinkable" water!!??
Have a busy time catching up with family and friends and sadly a funeral of an old mate of some 43 years.
