There's Been Another Murrdurr Part 3

Well after the Grusome murders reported on my blips on the 10th and 14th of December in Glen Sleekit and near the village of Sleekit with rumours abound about some weird hermit like figure raoming the glen and forests a Scottish forestry and wildlife officer noticed on one of there infrared BatCams a strange site just around 1am near batcam #4470 a strange ghost like figure digging around in the forest to reveal a skull was it the missing villager Forrest Gump that had went missing about 6 months previous or was it someone else  and who was the mysterious ghost like figure digging the skull up anyway we join Police Scotland Officers DS Jenson Mutton and Constable Larry Lamb as they go to the forestry comission offices to review the BatCam footage from the early hours of the morning as DS Mutton and Constable Lamb meet up with wildlife officers Bert Larch and Jim Fox as we listen in to there conversation.


DS M> Morning gents I hear you have some intreresting camera footage for us to review !
JF> We do indeed Detective me and Bert were reviewing our batcam footage of batcam #4470 near the convergence of Glen Sleekit and Glen Bogie and we have caught a strange sight that could contain a shallow grave and skull.
C L>Really !
BL> Yes indeed officer here watch this it was timed just after 1am this morning.

Video being watched by all as DS Mutton butts in
DS M> Is this real that figure looks like nothing I've ever seen in my life.
CL> F**K sir this looks serious, do you guys know what area this batcam is situated at ?
JF> We do and we can have you there in 15 minutes.
DS M> Right constable can you take the copy of the footage and place it in an evidence bag and we will make haste to where the footage was taken.
So the short drive with the police following the forestry and wildlife officers up a two mile gravel track they arrived at some very dense forest so they all got there gumboots on and carfully climbed through the thick vegetation trying not to disturb anything until they came to the spot
JF> Here is the spot officers.
DS M> Well I can see the disturbance in the ground Constable grab your wee trowel and carfully scrape back the loose soil.
After a couple of minutes scraping the soil back bones started to be noticed along with the skull that was in the video
CL> Looks like wee have another murrderr on our hands Sir this body just never found it's way into the ground like this naturally.
DS M> Your right Constable, can you two wildlife officers go back down the track and wait to show the forensic guys the way up while me and Constable Lamb look for more clues as we will leave the body in situ until the rest of the forensic team arrive.
So after a number of hours the forensic team had cleared all the earth away to reveal a the body hidden under the soil in the forest photographed it and put it in a body bag and took it away for examination meanwhile DS Mutton was talking with Constable Lamb.
DS M> You know what I can't understand constable is in that video footage that beast or whatever he was actually seemed to dig up the skull and then rebury it why do you think he or she did that ?
CL> Well it got me thinking the same sir it's just one puzzle after another.
DS M> Well we will have to go back to the SLAB and find out what we can about the body and get the forestry guys to keep vigilance with there batcams in the area but in the meantime we will get the police dogs out as soon as we can get them up here and see what we can find.
C L> Ok sir we will head back to headquarters and see what the forensic guys come up with.

So  the Police Scotland officers jumped back in there vehicle and headed back to base, as the rumours fly around the village of Sleekit that a body was discovered and a monster had been spotted creating fear in the village with folks quietly whispering about what or who they think the dead body may be anyway we will catch up with Police Scotland as the Investigation gathers pace with the discovery of the body and the findings of the post mortem so we will see what happens in part 4 of There's Been A Murrdur.
