Falls of Dochart

We travelled back up to Kenmore today for another short break at the Kenmore Club.

The weather was overcast today, very cold and there was some fog as we travelled up north. Stopped at Killin to take a few shots of the spectacular Falls of Dochart, situated near the western end of Loch Tay, where the River Dochart tumbles into the heart of the village beneath the Dochart Bridge.

The Bridge of Dochart was first constructed in 1760 and offers a view of the falls as they cascade over the rocks and around the island of Inchbuie, which is the ancient burial site of the Macnab Clan.
