A Peep Thru the Pinhole

San Gimignano, Tuscany

Spent the day in Siena and San Gimignano. SG is a medieval town (well, I guess most Tuscan towns are), known for its many tower structures, of which a few are pictured here. (You have to be away from the town to be able to get all the towers into one photo.) Many have been destroyed over time, though I can't remember how many there were initially.

It's an interesting small town, and I enjoyed wandering around it today, especially with such lovely weather. It was quite cool and breezy, but the day had a lovely feel to it - a "glad to be alive" feel.
