Heilan' Coo and Arthur's Seat

After yesterday's sunshine it was much cloudier today and quite misty this afternoon. We, along with R , went for a short walk in the Pentlands from Hillend. We went up Caerketton and then Allermuir Hills. The ground was nice and hard so feet stayed dry but distant views were quite hazy. There was a bank of low cloud in the central lowlands and this ebbed and flowed as the morning went on. Recently the Highland Cow has been introduced to improve the ground in the Pentlands Regional Park. There were a few above Hillend and also on the way back on the lower slopes of Allermuir,. The blip is of the original colour highland cow with the mist between the Braid Hills with the masts and Arthur's Seat. Certainly unusual weather conditions for Edinburgh.
