A walk in the dark

Boxing day, the day when I traditionally get up late, do nothing all day then watch football on the television. Not much different really from being retired.

A slight change of plan this evening when I went for a walk in the dark to get some fresh air and a photograph. I managed both but the air was a bit too fresh and the night a bit too dark to properly see what I was photographing. The contrast between the new and old street lights is quite striking, but not enough to hang around and be dazzled by it

I thawed out in time to watch the football.
