Rippingale Church

I started by uploading a shot of a football on our back lawn with an intriguing plume of snow wrapped around it, and a write up including the storm last night, but after I looked through the disappointing shots I took of the village church in the snow this morning (needed sunlight not clouds) I found this one and thought it fitted the slot better.

That was quite a storm here, with our satellite dish filling with snow and loosing the signal.  Fortunately we also have terrestrial so no great loss until the power went off.  All back to normal now.
 
We left our living room curtains open and watched the mayhem  on the A15 across the field at the back of the house.  I gather some were stuck for an hour or more in our area.  One articulated lorry was stuck on the hill opposite us causing lots of problems as it is only narrow single carriageway.
 

Compared to the roads further north we were very lucky.
