Eggs-static

Mr B arrived 'home' early, very much in need of sleep after a pretty awful night. So me and the kids cleared out in search of breakfast and pastimes. The kids wanted pancakes and a quick on-line search found me a restaurant a perfect kid-tiring-distance from the bus stop (Bruntsfield to Causewayside for those in the know).

My Eggs Benedict was pretty super too. More walking then to Princes Street for the annual M&S sock expedition. On the way, a delightful surprise when a lady poking her nose (and camera) through some railings, with a very dapper chap patiently standing by, turned out to be our very own Lord and Lady Findhorn of Blipland. Time for a swift walking chat before our respective errands (and patient companions) called, but again it is proved that Edinburgh really is a village.

With M&S emptied of socks and cooked chicken, off to meet Mr B and Aunty B. Some confusion over lunch arrangements sorted, and off to the senior B's.

Disease is cruel. Handholding helps. As does steak pie and a wee glass of Rioja.
