A lie-in this morning after a long day yesterday and eventually up to sunshine. Bailey seemed worn out by all his fun yesterday too but I think he might have regretted seeming a bit bored after lunch when we took him on a bit of a hike. The pedometer on my phone reckons we only went 3.5 miles but I am sure that it was further than that. We went along the canal and then across and back to the village via a footpath I've never been on before. Bailey was granted his freedom for a short part of it but every man and their dog seemed to be walking off their Christmas excesses so it didn't last for very long. He enjoyed himself none the less and his spent the evening spark out.
