A Day At A Time.

High And Dry

We actually woke to rain and nearly all the snow had disappeared. After breakfast the sun shone for a while and we went to collect the hire car. I hoped for a moment it was going to be the silver Ferrari, but actually it was the red Fiat 500. Fun it is too.
Now followed a quick tour of Jacquiland, where she grew up and the houses she lived in. Included in the tour was the riverfront at low tide. A quick stop for a Pearson's Pork Pie (established 1909 and delicious) and then a cultural tour of Port Sunlight, the museum and the Lady Lever Art Gallery.
A quick stop to meet brother and have a cuppa and now home again to the warmth of Shirley's lovely flat.
