My first day in Cologne and I am loving it. I love travelling and I love travelling by myself as I have so much freedom to do as I please. Today I visited the 7 Christmas Markets and stuffed my face with as many local delicacies as I could. When I travel I make a point of never eating anything that I can find outside of that country, well apart from coffee! So everything I ate can only be found in Germany and most only found within the Rhineland region where Cologne is situated. Cologne cathedral is the dominating landmark of the city and it really is huge. One of the biggest Gothic cathedrals in the world. It is spectacular.
