Taking Gracie for a spin

My son has recently discovered my record collection and the old turntable has been spinning and crackling its way through hits old and even older. This old 78 (bet you youngsters don't remember those) was bought for me by my wife. It was one of my mother's favourites for its pure absurdity. Just the thought of someone going to the trouble of lugging a huge harp to a party and nobody asking them to play it always raises a smile. It's a bit sad too. And wonderful to hear Gracie Field's voice. Have a search on iTunes.
