Three Pigeons, Halifax

Crossed the Pennines with snapperman1 today to watch Chester's game at FC Halifax Town. This gave us the opportunity to visit one of our favourite away day hostelries, the Three Pigeons close to the Shay. 

As usual there was an excellent choice of beers and there was a strong temptation to stay in the warm especially as neither of us was hopeful after the defeat against Altrincham on Boxing Day.

In the event the Blues exceeded expectations and deservedly won the game 2-0.
