With a lot of blinding light and a very blue sky. Temps around the freezing point.
To help you with the blinding white, I now publish the instructions as "By Himself" gave out on December 22nd. They work.
How to install Stylish and a style to calm down the white of the new Blipfoto site.

On Firefox

Click the Menu icon on the right of the top toolbar of the Firefox browser (it looks like three lines)
Click the ‘Add-ons’ icon (it looks like a jigsaw puzzle piece)
OR just use CTRL+SHIFT+A keys together.
Click ‘Get Add-ons’
In the ‘search all add-ons’ box at the top of the page, enter ‘Stylish’
Click the ‘Install’ button next to the main Stylish add-on - it should be at the top of the list
When the add-on has installed you need to restart Firefox - there should be a link to do this in the install page or just shut down Firefox and restart it.
You should now have a Stylish icon in the Firefox top toolbar.
In Firefox, go to blipfoto.com and sign in
Click the Stylish icon in the toolbar and then ‘Find styles for this site’
Select ‘blipfoto-calm-white’ and install it.
You should now see the blipfoto site with a pale grey background. If you don’t, close and restart Firefox.


On Chrome

Click the menu icon on the right of the top toolbar
Click ‘Settings’
Click ‘Extensions in the left-hand menu
At the bottom of the page click ‘Get more extensions’
In the ‘Search the store’ search box enter ‘Stylish’
Click the button next to the ‘Stylish - restyle the web’ extension
Log into blipfoto.com
Click the Stylish icon that should be in your top toolbar
Click ‘Find more styles for this site’
Click ‘blipfoto-calm-white’ and install it
You should now see the blipfoto site with a pale grey background. If you don’t, close and restart Chrome

I had to install Firefox and then went from there. I even choose grey instead of the calm white option. I am a very happy camper right now!
