Don't blink ...

The soul, fortunately, has an interpreter - often an unconscious but still a faithful interpreter - in the eye.
Charlotte Brontë

Lovely day - weather beautiful and the sun was shining. Went to the Farmers Market in Waverley and wandered around taking photographs of the market and the colourful houses nearby. Brought back delicious bread for lunch and a jar of preserves and smoked almond butter. We then headed out to Houseworks - an amazing old and very large building packed full of interesting odds and ends, furniture and general house clearance treasures including the cherub blipped. I bought a small bell and there were other items I would have loved to have bought but they would have caused a problem in terms of my luggage allowance!
In the evening we went to the Golden West Cafe in Hampden - no bookings allowed so a wait is normal so stood at the bar while waiting. Great meal and the eccentric decor included a bisons head.
