Fruit Bowl

The hawk scarers Im afraid don't seem to be deterring the birds as we had hoped. We have trimmed the Apricot tree today removing half eaten and rotting fruit and tried to partially net the bunches that the birds have not yet started on. We will have to cut all of the trees down to a lesser height once the fruit is all gone so that next year we will be able to net them. The trees should have been kept at a reasonable height and maintained.. but they have not been and now that they are mature trees we suspect they may not take kindly to a "short back and sides" that they need just so that we can have some fruit.
