View on Dordrecht

The painter Jan van Goyen - 1596 / 1656 - was famous for his river landscapes. He also made a painting of this view on Dordrecht and its being memorized by a frame on the river shore.

I also noticed the tower is really starting to lean over like the famous Tower of Pisa in Italy, so I added another picture to show that on my Flickr page.

Ps. Sorry for the poor quality, I forgot to insert my SD card back in the camera before I left home for a few days, so I only have the low resolution images the camera sent by wifi to my iPhone :-(
