Shafts of Sunlight

Quote from The Lord of the Rings, Book Three, when Merry and Pippin enter Fangorn Forest and just before they meet Treebeard:
"Just then they became aware of a yellow light that had appeared, some way further on into the wood: shafts of sunlight seemed suddenly to have pierced the forest-roof."

On a path, off the road to Keeper's Pool - did seem rather magical and I thought of the forests in Middle-earth...

(Btw, if any good photographers see this, I'd love any suggestions as to how I could have captured this better...)
