Ice on the lake not yet strong enough!

That's what this hare must have been thinking when it decided not to cross the lake after all and made a 180-degree turn back to the mainland.

This morning A had to go to work again. I went for a walk by the lake in the afternoon. I saw an eagle fly over me pretty close. And of course I could not get my camera to focus on it, so the shutter would not work, grrr. Got some pretty small images of it, though. It looked so majestic with the huge wing span and the brownish colour close to the tail.
