Seabegs Wood

A morning playing 'catch-up' (including posting several days' worth of blips) - in fact, just a usual Monday for me - followed by a trip to the shops to resolve the small matter of a near-empty fridge.

Stopped on the way home at Seabegs Wood, somewhere I hadn't visited for a few months, and took a walk along the well-preserved stretch of Antonine Wall and back along the Roman Military Road. There was still quite a bit of frost on the ground in some places while other parts of the wood were quite squelchy underfoot. I wish I had worn walking shoes as a change of socks was required upon my return home!
