Approach to Loughrigg Tarn

What a beautiful day, cold but sunny, walked from Grasmere alongside Grasmere Lake on the newly refurbished path, round Rydal Water and then up across the fell to Loughrigg Tarn and finally home via Tweedies Bar for a well deserved pint.

We stopped to eat lunch looking at this magnificent display of ever changing mist in the valley below, watched over by just ourselves and one lone sheep
