Witch hazel

First sight of this for this winter. Don't think I've seen it in December before, it's normally been some way through January and I count it as one of the very first signs of spring.

First full day back in Edinburgh today - I came back yesterday evening from a family Christmas at my older brother's in Oxfordshire and am feeling disoriented. Getting out and about blipping on my way to the shops made me feel  a bit more normal. I have quite a lot of back-blipping to do, but reckoned I would start with today so that I'm not constantly behind for days.
