Lights

My absolute favourite bit about this season is seeing places lit up. It is, of course, why Christmas is at this time of year - an appropriation of ancient festivals to ward off darkness and associated evil.

Today we are rarely in total darkness. We all carry sources of light with us on our phones and other devices.
