Finishing Touches

People start arriving tonight.  This morning was an uber early start with much cleaning and hoovering, hiding away the last few bits of junk and putting bows on the vases...

Then to work - an early finish returned me home before the first of our guests... Always a little more tidying is possible, but you have to get to a point of "sod it, that'll do".  Whilst it wasn't perfect, I think the house was in more than passable condition. 

We had a curry with the last of the stewing Dexter.  Was pretty amazing.  I think I'm going to miss this kitchen a lot - all the space, the pretty Rangemaster cooker, let alone the giant American-style fridge-freezer!
