For a few days we've been tentatively popping Amos down in what had hitherto been mostly just Edgar's room but with a portable cot where the real cot used to be in case it all went horribly and squawkingly wrong in the wee hours. Fortunately, it seems to be going reasonably well, so some rearrangements were executed, including rotating the bunk bed whilst not removing any more than one chest of drawers from the room. Unfortunately the longer non-bunk bed frame was fractionally too long to fit inside the space between the legs of the bunk but was able to be temporarily disconnected from the footboard and reconnected on the other side.
