The Greys

After work met some friends, first at a pub called "Lady Greys" then another pub called "Charles Grey". Now walking to Monument metro station below Earl Greys monument. I've blipped the monument many times and even twice from the very top after climbing the long spiral staircase within. I love the way the statue is lit up at night but in 1838 the statue was not so popular amongst locals. The opening ceremony was poorly attended and not even Earl Grey himself turned up to the event!
