Its not always all cheer

A beautiful day for the beach and a walk along the coast....for most of us, that is.

This shot towards Rottnest Island from North Fremantle captures an old not often used bridge over the Perth to Fremantle railway line.

A lonely sole had taken up his position in the middle of the bridge with a bottle of ale to give him a midday boost.

I was pleased to note 10 minutes later he was heading towards the railway station , and one can only hope to friends that add more cheer to his day than a warm ale.

It does make you appreciate many things in life that we treat as so precious... family and friends.
