End of the year.

Today is my birthday, but I’m not saying which.   Suffice that last year the cake came with a fire extinguisher, while this year it has battery operated candles on account of not wanting to be the possible cause of a ‘major fire incident’ in Yorkshire.   Think I need new batteries as well sometimes.   Birthdays which coincide with the end of a year always involve some looking back and the above picture is a photographic representation of this.   Throughout the year, especially when we visit new places and attend events, I collect leaflets programmes, tickets etc. and keep them in my memory box.   At the end of the year, it’s nice to go through the memory box and reminisce. 

 And a huge thanks to all the lovely blippers who’ve helped, encouraged, commented, awarded stars and hearts throughout this year.   I’ve loved your journals, enjoyed your lovely pictures, laughed at your funny stories and commiserated with your disappointments.   Who knows what next year will bring, but here’s to the challenge.
