for Lobelia. Looking very pretty in the sunshine on the terrace, I think. It was awful nice to be out there with the warm boards benath me feet and Moot doing his "I've fallen over again, you need to stroke me some more" shtick.

I rescued a little bee-with-a-red-bum* from the water dish. Normally I keep well away from all things that buzz but I wasn't going to let it drown was I? The last I saw of it, it was drying itself off on the table where I hope the sun will help.

Today is Himmelfahrt and we get a holiday for that here. It would have been nice if it had been a long weekend but I'll take what I get.

* used hyphens just in case you thought "I rescued a bee with a red bum" meant I used a red bum to rescue a bee. That would be just silly, I used a spoon.
