Happy New Year!

Dave and I are very blessed that every New Year's Eve our children spend it with us! We started a tradition of having New Year's Eve dinner at Bern' Steakhouse many, many years ago when our children were young teenagers. Dinner is followed by dessert upstairs in the Henry Waugh dessert room. You sit in special booths constructed from redwood wine holding tanks. Here you listen to your choice of music or live music by a pianist while sipping coffee and eating the most decadent desserts. A visit to the dessert room is not complete if you don't have some of their homemade ice cream. My personal favorite is their own recipe of Macadamia Nut Ice Cream. It is a leisurely and intimate end to a fabulous night of fine dining. Usually after all the rich food, I am ready to not eat for a week! This is a photo of our daughter and son-in-law at dinner with us. Next year we hope to have our son and daughter-in-law join us on New Year's Eve. Hope everyone has a very blessed 2015.
