Happy New Year !

Only a few hours left in 2014 and sipping a first glass of champagne in the Théâtre du Châtelet. We have tickets for the musical An American in Paris, based on the symphonic poem of George Gershwin (written in 1928). The music also served as basis for the Oscar winning film in the fifties, although the musical takes its own route.

It is a new Broadway musical, which had its world premiere this November in Paris. The performances here end 4th Jan 2015 and the whole musical crew then moves to New York, having the Broadway premiere on 13th March 2015.
The performance was absolutely great and the time passed too quickly. It is a dancing musical, with a perfect mix: jazz, ballet, fast changing mobile sets and beautiful video projections supporting the decoration. We can fully recommend it.
