Scot-lands

Despite waking up early I ended up going back to sleep and staying in bed til about 11.30. Deary me, that's not the way I should be starting the year!
Hideous wet and windy weather but eventually stirred myself to go to the trail of performances around the city....saw some quite good things including this guy reciting Tam O'Shanter. Hadn't heard the whole thing before, and liked the mention of 'Auld Ayr, wham ne'er a town surpasses,
For honest men and bonnie lasses', given that's my place of birth!
Met up with the young ones who'd had a brilliant time in town last night but needed an even longe lie in than me!
We went to the museum and enjoyed a wander, then home to watch movies and graze.
