Giant Bradley

We spent the day with friends in Bridlington- everybody forgetting to take photos(lots of eating, drinking, chatter and laughter), and on the way home, passing through Market Weighton, I spotted the illuminated statue of William Bradley - known as Giant Bradley- with a christmas tree behind.  Worthy of a blip I thought, so we turned around for a quick blip stop. He was born in Market Weighton in 1787, and is the tallest recorded British man ,standing at 7ft 8ins(2.34m). The Market Weighton bypass is even named  'Giant Bradley Way.'
