White Horse Hill

Uffington White Horse is a highly stylised prehistoric hill figure which is thought to date sometime from 1,000 BC to 100 AD. You can't really see the white horse from this angle - it's one of those mysterious archeological sites that you would see best from the air - but if you know it's there, you can see that the shape of the hill suits the outline of the horse.
