day 2

began the day late...and by late I mean 5:45am.  Yes the kids slept in!!

There was a walk to the top of the nearby road that bikes struggle to climb... 22% gradient for part of the way, covering 1.8km & about 280m above sea level.... the 2 boys; who in a delirious state upon waking, chose to come with us. The other option was watching Frozen with the girls... half way up I think they would have chosen the movie.

Got back to the house for fresh laid eggs, left over smoked pork, bacon & a batch of Thermomix hollandaise (seriously this machine is delightful)

The boys are now on the oval doing laps, the kids are in the pool & lunch is about to be started (one pot chicken)

We begin the drive home later this afternoon - a nap before we leave would be nice - but not achievable whilst the boys are playing on their toys
