Ella...and the pavlova.

All the family know about "Nana's Blips", and Aidan was delighted to be featured yesterday. Ella kept asking what I was going to blip today, and when I suggested that maybe she could be in my blip, it made her day.
Their cousins arrived from the South Island today so we cooked a sort of a special New Year dinner and included Jan G's (wife of fellow blipper Richardg) recipe for a Mocha Pavlova. The children helped make the chocolate leaves and decorated it. Three layers of meringue, whipped cream, grated chocolate and strawberries....guess you can feel the calories already!
But we had all been out on the boat swimming, jumping off the roof and having a very busy afternoon so guess we deserved it.
By the way, Ella was just looking after Nana's bubbles while she took the photo.
