Union Canal

Union Canal, Edinburgh, Scotland.

Joggers burning off the turkey and the cormorant mocking me as I never got a good shot of it. On my way to the shop I saw a bird and as I looked it I was surprised to see it was a cormorant diving for fish in the fresh water canal. As I got the lens changed rapidly it popped up quite a distance away with a massive fish and swallowed it. Happily fed it fled from range.
