Roadside Buzzard

Given the weather forecast for today I hadn't planned to go out taking photos and this morning lived up to the forecast with strong winds and rain that later turned sleety and hail too. However, I'm not very good at staying in and lengthening gaps between showers tempted me out, and this image (along with a whole series of others) feels like my reward for venturing out. I often see buzzards on fence posts or trees by the roadside but rarely do they stay long enough for me to capture them but this bird gave me time to take a whole sequence much to my delight.
