Sunbeams.....

The weather report said it would be sunny in East Lothian today, so we threw together a picnic, collected the SBG and headed away from Edinburgh.  Gales, sleet, snow......and then, finally, sunshine.  It was, of course, blowing a hoolie out at North Berwick today, but, with hats and gloves, as well as a pit stop at Steampunk for our coffee fix, we were ready for it.

Very blustery, but sunny too.  After our walk, it was a car picnic (just too windy and icy to sit about outside with our lunch), followed by a visit to Archerfield Walled Garden for a play at their enclosed kids area and coffee (again) for us.  

I made Iain stop the car at Longniddry Bents so I could stand by the shore, freezing my ass off to get some photos of the sunset.  

Worth it though......
