Blip Birthday

Our lovely Spanish señorita Maria in Costa helped me out with this blip holding out two cups to represent two years on Blipfoto. She didn't want me to show her face as she wasn't happy with her hair! It's everyone's loss. Que será, será.

Divorce, house move, death, job pressures - they're all up there in the stress rankings. I stumbled across Blipfoto in the middle of this period of my life and it has proved to be a zone of stability as events flowed around me.

This blip marks the end of my second year, and the images evidence a more stable period with more pictures of my children but also of the medical legacy of AF. It has taken me a year to get round to clearing my mother's house and delve back through more than 50 years of history with further blips of what I've unearthed. Earlier in the year I also experimented with some photo manipulation software and proudly displayed the results.

My 365 blip was a tribute to my little girlfriend who has been riding the rollercoaster with me and has stopped me from falling out. We're still holding hands. Xxx

Thanks so much to all who drop by and especially those who take the time to comment. My regular commute means that I'm usually playing catch-up with your journals - I really do appreciate sharing your lives though and looking at the banter - and the rants - and even the occasional dummies being thrown out of prams.

I met Joe last year at the Oxfam picnic and it's true that the friendly nature of this site is spread by the ethos of its founder. Long may it continue. Cheers.
