Fantasia

By the light of the Christmas tree my attempt at Mozart's Piano Fantasia in D Minor crashed and burned. 

Muscle memory is still there (even after all these years) but my stupid numb fingers are neither deft enough nor accurate enough to hit the right notes any longer.

Unsurprisingly my feet (no matter how near or far I am from the piano) cannot pedal anymore, which further ruins my efforts.

I have to accept my fate of vaguely amusing amateur rather than once semi-competent musician.
