First snow of the new year!

Woke up to a little dusting of snow this morning...it made everything look so pretty! The sky stayed very dark & overcast,  & several hours ago an icy rain started falling, making the roads somewhat slippery. Now it's turned back to snow & has started falling more heavily, so I'm glad I already ran my errands!  I'm hoping it doesn't come down with a vengence to make up for our lack of snow in December!
