Modernism

One of the main topics that I found really interesting this year is modernism and postmodernism. The 'utopia' that the modernists had envisioned backfired when buildings such as that shown here before rife with crime and people feeling isolated from the outside world.

To me, this block of flats sticks out like a sore thumb in Chester, which is known for its Tudor style architecture.

I've finished photography completely now, and can't wait for my final hand-in on Monday!
